Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be carrying stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, or simply a sense that things are not quite right. Often, people come to therapy when they feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unable to cope in the way they once could.
You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek support because they want to better understand themselves, improve relationships, build confidence, manage emotions more effectively, or create healthier patterns in their lives.
How you know therapy might help
You may benefit from therapy if you are experiencing:
- Anxiety, panic, or constant worry
- Stress, burnout, or feeling overwhelmed
- Low mood, sadness, or lack of motivation
- Difficulties in relationships or communication
- Loss, grief, or major life changes
- Trauma or unresolved past experiences
- Struggles with weight management and body image
- Low self-esteem or self-criticism
- Feeling stuck, disconnected, or emotionally drained
- Difficulty managing emotions or coping day to day
- Sleep difficulties, overthinking, or persistent tension
- A desire for personal growth, self-awareness, or change
Sometimes people simply need a safe, confidential space where they can speak openly without judgement.
MY APPROACH
As an Integrative Counsellor, Art Psychotherapist and CBT Practitioner, I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Every person is unique, with their own experiences, personality, and needs. I tailor therapy to suit each individual client, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what will best support you.
My work is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in creating a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
I offer both:
- Online sessions for flexibility and accessibility
- Face-to-face sessions in Rosslare Harbour
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to explore what has brought you to therapy.
During this session we will:
- Discuss what you would like support with
- Explore your goals for therapy
- Agree a clear therapeutic contract outlining how we will work together
- Complete an intake questionnaire, which provides important background information and helps me understand your experiences and needs more fully
This initial session also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.
A SAFE SUPPORTIVE SPACE
My therapy room in Rosslare Harbour offers a calm, private, and welcoming environment where you can feel safe to explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace.
Whether online or in person, my aim is to provide a supportive and confidential space where you feel genuinely listened to and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change. Therapy offers the time and space to better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping and living.
You do not have to manage everything alone.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORTS AND HOLISTIC WELL BEING
Alongside counselling and CBT, I am also a licenced homeopath. I recognise that emotional wellbeing is often connected to many areas of life — mind, body, lifestyle, relationships, and daily pressures. Where appropriate, we may also explore additional supportive approaches that can complement therapy and help you feel more balanced and supported overall.
This may include:
- Mindfulness and grounding techniques to help manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
- Breathing exercises and relaxation strategies
- Practical coping tools for managing the pressures of everyday life
- Support with creating healthier routines, boundaries, and self-care practices
- Exploring ways to reduce emotional burnout and improve resilience
- Psychoeducation to help you better understand patterns, emotions, and nervous system responses
- Signposting to additional holistic or wellbeing supports, including approaches such as homeopathy, where appropriate and in line with your own interests and needs
I believe therapy should support the whole person, not just the problem that brings you to counselling. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on what will genuinely help you feel more grounded, empowered, and able to cope with life’s challenges.
My aim is to provide both emotional support and practical tools that you can carry into everyday life long after therapy sessions end.
